The internet is a great place to find cute dogs and outrage. I'm neither of those things. Last year, I lost over $200,000 in sales for a business I worked in because I didn't win all the right stakeholders. The few years before that I failed to get to 'Director' in banking because I couldn't handle the politics, and I didn't want to wait all those years to get there. I failed two small businesses last year because I didn't achieve product market fit. And right now, I fail every day trying to put words together for my book. But I'm really good at a few things. In banking, my team brought in $1.2 BILLION in 18 months. And last year, while I lost over $200,000 in deals, I brought in a whale. A $1.6m contract that skyrocketed the portfolio. And it's a 5 year deal! They were so happy they asked me to start a consulting company so they could be my first client. So now, I live in Spain, work remotely, and am thinking of taking up surfing.
